What is
Fixed Wire Testing (EICR Testing)
Fixed Wire Testing (EICR Testing) or electrical inspection protects buildings and employees from the two main electrical risks – fire and electrical shock. Over a period of time, these risks increase as installations deteriorate and it is in the best interests of you and your employees that you have an installation that is not only electrically sound but also free from the risk of fire.
What is involved in
Fixed Wire Testing (EICR Testing)
One or more engineers may be on site during fixed wire testing (eicr testing), they will conduct a number of electrical inspection tests on each distribution board which usually requires each circuit to be isolated for a short period of time.
We try to minimise disturbance as much as possible our engineers will work with you to identify where customers, guests, patients, students or employees may be affected and we will work with you to agree a scheduled to minimise impact, which might include providing testing outside of normal business hours or during scheduled periods of downtime.
